On the afternoon of June 2, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea, Mr. Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee, and the city delegation held a working session with Furiosa AI and KTNF, two leading South Korean technology companies in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and digital infrastructure.
Overview of the working session
Participants included Mr. Vu Ho, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to South Korea; Mr. Pham Van Thep, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority; representatives of relevant departments, sectors and organizations; and several businesses investing and operating in the city.
Receiving the delegation at the company headquarters were Mr. Lee Jung-yeon, CEO of KTNF; Mr. Jung Yeom Beom, Executive Director of Furiosa AI; and representatives of the management boards of both companies.

Delegates exchange views during the working session
At the session, Hai Phong city leaders introduced the potential of its economic zones, industrial parks, free trade zone, deep-water seaport system and modern logistics infrastructure. They also proposed that the two companies study investment opportunities in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data centers, digital infrastructure, smart seaports and technology solutions supporting digital transformation for businesses in Hai Phong.
