To mark the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 – May 13, 2025), on the morning of May 6, Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority (HEZA), visited and presented gifts to former heads of HEZA. Representatives of the relevant local authorities accompanied him.
Le Trung Kien, Head of HEZA, visited and presented gifts to Pham Thuyen, former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and former Head of HEZA, in Minh Khai Ward, Hong Bang District; Pham Van Moi, former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and former Head of HEZA, in Dang Hai Ward, Hai An District; and Do Trung Thoai, former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee and former Head of HEZA, in Anh Dung Ward, Duong Kinh District.
At each location, Le Trung Kien, Head of HEZA, informed the former officials of several notable results in the city’s socio-economic development in recent years. He also expressed deep appreciation for the contributions made by former HEZA heads to the development of HEZA in particular and the city in general. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong, the Head of HEZA wished the former officials and their families good health and expressed his hope that, drawing on their professional experience, they would continue to take an interest in and contribute to the city’s construction and development.
The former heads of HEZA expressed their delight at the attention from the city and HEZA, and their confidence that the next generation of officials would continue to uphold tradition, strengthen solidarity, pursue innovation and make positive contributions to the dynamic and sustainable development of Hai Phong City in the new period./.
