On the afternoon of June 11, 2025, Innox Ecom Vina Co., Ltd. (South Korea) held the inauguration ceremony for its SiO production project in Vietnam. The project is located in the non-tariff area and Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park (Zone 1), within the Dinh Vu–Cat Hai Economic Zone, Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong City. Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, and representatives of relevant departments, sectors, businesses and partners.

Innox Ecom Vina’s SiO production project operates in the basic chemicals manufacturing sector, specifically the production of silicon dioxide (SiO). The project has registered total investment capital of USD 20 million and is built on an area of 6,048 m². Construction began on November 26, 2024, and the project has now been completed and is ready for operation. The plant has a designed capacity of 800 tonnes of SiO per year, with all products exported to major markets such as Europe and the Americas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, emphasized that, in its role as the state management authority directly responsible for the city’s industrial parks and economic zones, the Board always accompanies investors and creates the most favorable conditions for them, from the stage of exploration and implementation through to the project’s commencement of production and business operations. The principle of “harmonizing benefits and sharing difficulties” guides the Board’s business support activities, contributing to investment promotion and sustainable production and business development in Hai Phong.

He also highly appreciated Innox Ecom Vina Co., Ltd.’s decision to invest in basic chemicals manufacturing, a highly specialized sector requiring modern technology and strict safety management. The plant’s operation will not only help increase the city’s industrial production value but also create employment opportunities for local workers and make a practical contribution to the country’s industrialization and modernization.
The Deputy Head expressed confidence that, with advanced technological foundations, international management experience and a skilled and dedicated workforce, Innox Ecom Vina Co., Ltd. will quickly bring the plant into stable operation, produce products meeting international standards, and affirm its position and brand reputation in the global market.

He also asked the company, during the implementation and operation of the project, to continue strictly complying with Vietnamese laws on environmental protection, fire prevention and firefighting, and occupational safety; pay attention to the material and spiritual well-being of its employees; and build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. On that basis, the plant should be developed as a model of responsibility, effectiveness and aspiration for advancement, in line with the Prime Minister’s direction: “Once we say it, we must do it; once we make a commitment, we must fulfill it; once we do it and fulfill it, there must be concrete results.”
