Implementing the direction of the Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority (HEZA), and based on the actual labour recruitment needs of enterprises in industrial parks (IPs) and economic zones (EZs), as well as the training requirements of educational and vocational institutions in Hai Phong, HEZA has developed a plan to organise an enterprise–school–local government recruitment and training connection conference as follows:
Purpose:
– Communicate and disseminate information to call for, attract and retain the local labour force to serve and supply workers to enterprises in Hai Phong;
– Connect labour supply and demand: create a bridge between enterprises in IPs and EZs and universities, colleges, intermediate schools and vocational training institutions in Hai Phong;
– Meet the demand for high-quality human resources: align training with enterprises’ practical needs;
– Strengthen the three-party partnership: “Government – School – Enterprise”;
– Address the shortage of skilled labour in IPs and EZs;
– Sign cooperation agreements among the parties to develop high-quality human resources;
– Promote Hai Phong’s socio-economic development in the new period.
The conference is the starting point for long-term coordination programmes among management agencies, training institutions and enterprises, with the aim of forming a human-resource ecosystem linked to market demand.
