On June 11, 2026, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority welcomed and held a working session with a delegation led by Tao Venture Partners (Singapore), together with representatives of technology and logistics businesses from China. The visit aimed to learn about the investment environment and explore cooperation opportunities in Hai Phong.

Nguyen Thi Bich Dung, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, welcomed the delegation and chaired the session, together with representatives of the leadership of the Authority’s professional divisions and the Hai Phong Investment, Employment and Business Support Promotion Centre.

The delegation included Dongliang Ge, Founding Partner of Tao Venture Partners, who served as head of the delegation; Nguyen Cao Hoang Anh, Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner; and other members.

At the session, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority introduced an overview of the city’s investment attraction, industrial and economic zone system, and seaport infrastructure. In particular, the delegation was briefed on the Hai Phong Free Trade Zone—the first and only free trade zone in northern Vietnam—established under the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 226/2025/QH15 with superior incentive policies on taxation, land, customs and the attraction of international talent.

The delegation expressed interest in investment opportunities in information technology, digital transformation, supply chain management and logistics in Hai Phong. The two sides held an open exchange on investment conditions, procedures and potential areas of cooperation, particularly as the city is accelerating the development of digital infrastructure and smart logistics.
