On the afternoon of June 2, 2026, at the headquarters of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, No. 5 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hong Bang District, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority welcomed and worked with a delegation from the Lam Dong Industrial Parks Authority. The visit aimed to exchange experience in preparing plans and developing coastal economic zones and free trade zones in support of Lam Dong’s development orientation in the coming period.
The session was attended by Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority; Mr. Nguyen Van Chuan, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority; representatives of the leadership of specialized divisions and the Hai Phong Investment Promotion – Employment – Business Support Center. The Lam Dong delegation was led by Mr. Phan Duong Cuong, Head of the Lam Dong Industrial Parks Authority, together with representatives of the provincial People’s Committee Office, departments, sectors and specialized divisions of the Lam Dong Industrial Parks Authority.
Before the plenary session, the delegation made a field visit to Xuan Cau Lach Huyen Industrial Park and Deep C2A Industrial Park. There, the delegation was introduced to the development models, technical infrastructure and investment attraction orientations of the industrial parks, gaining a practical view of the potential and advantages of Hai Phong’s industrial park system.
At the session, representatives of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority shared practical experience in preparing and implementing the Southern Coastal Economic Zone and Hai Phong Free Trade Zone; preparing, adjusting and implementing general, zoning and detailed construction plans; as well as solutions for attracting investment and developing infrastructure in industrial parks and economic zones in the coming period.
The working session took place in an open and substantive atmosphere, helping Lam Dong Province research, develop and implement economic zone and free trade zone models suited to its potential and development orientation.
