To practically celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13, 2004 – October 13, 2026), on the morning of coming October 13, at the Multi-purpose Hall, City Convention and Performance Center, the City People’s Committee will organize a Conference to meet and listen to the opinions of city enterprises under the theme “Hai Phong Enterprises – Connecting for growth, innovating to lead”.

The event is expected to gather approximately 400 enterprises representing the domestic business community and foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the area. Attending the conference will be leaders of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the People’s Council, the City People’s Committee, the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation, leaders of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), representatives of departments, boards, sectors, central agencies, and business and industry associations.
The conference is an occasion for the city to honor, express gratitude to, and affirm the pioneering role of entrepreneurs in the cause of innovation and development of the port city. At the program, city leaders will provide a briefing on socio-economic performance results, enterprise development status in the first 9 months of the year, deploy key solutions for the last 3 months of 2026, and screen a reportage on the business community’s contributions toward the double-digit economic growth target for the 2026 – 2030 period.
The core focus of the conference is a direct and open dialogue session between city leaders and the business community chaired by the Chairman of the City People’s Committee. Leaders of functional departments and sectors will directly listen, respond to recommendations, and resolve bottlenecks regarding land access, production sites in industrial parks and industrial clusters, capital access mechanisms, administrative procedure reduction, as well as green transition and digital transformation roadmaps. Thereby, city leaders affirm their commitment to substantive companionship, resolutely improving a safe and transparent investment and business environment, and realizing the 2026 theme: “Proactive implementation, unlocking internal strength, breakthrough growth”.
On this occasion, the City People’s Committee will award Certificates of Merit to enterprises with exemplary state budget contributions, pioneering units in science and technology application, green transition, supporting industries, labor-intensive enterprises, and those actively accompanying local social security initiatives./.
