Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Cao Ngoc Thanh, member of the City Youth Union Executive Committee and Secretary of the City People’s Committee Youth Union; Mr. Duong Van Xuyen, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Standing Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority; together with leaders of the Authority, the Office, specialized divisions and affiliated units.
The Congress elected a Presidium of three members to conduct the program and one secretary. On behalf of the Authority’s leadership, Mr. Duong Van Xuyen presented flowers, congratulated, recognized, praised and encouraged young people to continue promoting their pioneering and creative spirit and contribute to sustainable development.
At the Congress, important reports were presented, highlighting Youth Union work and youth movements during 2022–2025 and setting out directions, objectives, tasks and solutions for the 2025–2030 term. The City People’s Committee Youth Union announced Decision No. 73-QD/DTN dated October 2, 2025, appointing the Executive Committee of the Authority’s Youth Union for 2025–2030 with 11 members; Mr. Le Khac Hung was appointed Secretary.
The Congress voted to adopt the resolution for the 2025–2030 term, affirming its determination to build a generation of young people with revolutionary ideals who are pioneering, united and creative; constantly improve their professional skills and master science and technology; promote volunteerism and the vanguard spirit in industrialization, modernization and international integration; improve the quality of Youth Union organization activities; actively participate in Party building; and contribute to the sustainable development of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority.
Under the spirit of “Unity – Pioneering – Creativity – Development,” the First Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority for the 2025–2030 term concluded successfully, opening a new period filled with enthusiasm and determination for the youth of the Hai Phong Economic Zone.
