In his closing remarks, Mr. Luong Van Viet, Director of the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, affirmed that high-quality human resources were the strongest magnet for attracting large FDI flows. He said the Department would continue working closely with the Economic Zone Authority and enterprises to build specific partnership models and a focal point for information on labor demand and market forecasts, enabling training institutions to understand enterprises’ immediate and long-term needs. This would support the early development of the “learning in the workshop” and “workshop at the school” models, helping learners acquire appropriate skills, industrial working practices and professional ethics so they can adapt to jobs without additional upgrading or retraining. The Department is determined to pursue substantive innovation so that every graduate in the city is ready to contribute to the prosperity of the port city, with stronger links between vocational education and enterprises as a breakthrough solution.
