The Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority will hold a thematic environmental seminar on March 6, 2025, to implement the city’s 2025 theme: “Expanding economic and urban space; promoting special mechanisms and policies; strengthening green and digital transformation”. The theme of the seminar is “Green transition in industrial parks toward sustainable development in Hai Phong”.
The seminar is expected to attract approximately 400 delegates, including representatives of international organizations such as the U.S. Embassy, the Embassy of Switzerland, UNIDO and the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs, as well as representatives of central ministries and agencies, local authorities, green-finance organizations, business associations and leading enterprises in industrial parks.
The program focuses on practical strategies and solutions to accelerate green transition, eco-industrial park development, the circular economy, ESG in corporate governance, carbon tracking and the Net Zero roadmap. The plenary discussion will explore the carbon-credit market, an important trend in global emissions-reduction policy.
With leading experts, businesses and organizations taking part, the seminar is expected to deliver breakthrough solutions, improve the competitiveness of industrial parks, promote sustainable investment and affirm Hai Phong as a leading destination in Vietnam’s green industrial development strategy.
