HTIT is a joint venture between Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and Terminal Investment Limited (TIL), one of the world’s leading port operators under the MSC shipping line. MSC’s selection of HTIT for its first trial voyage demonstrates the company’s particular interest in the infrastructure, services and operating capacity of Hai Phong Port.

M/V GREENVILLE is expected to discharge 2,043 TEUs of cargo.
The event opens many development opportunities for HTIT and Hai Phong Port to attract direct international shipping services to Europe and the Americas, enhance competitiveness and affirm their position in the global supply chain.

Hai Phong Port leaders welcome the captain of M/V GREENVILLE and present a commemorative gift.
In the first quarter of 2025, the parent company Hai Phong Port continued to record positive growth in production and business activities. Despite facing challenges from global political developments and changing tax policies in China and the United States, Hai Phong Port maintained an effective marketing strategy, improved service quality and strongly restructured its organization. From the beginning of the year, the port added two new service routes at Tan Vu Port; container throughput increased by 3%, non-container cargo by 68%, and automobiles passing through Tan Vu Port by 50% compared with the same period in 2024. Revenue and profit also recorded encouraging growth.
