The event was attended and directed by Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee; Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Pham Van Lap, Chairman of the municipal People’s Council; and Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the Hai Phong Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee.
The program consists of 2 parts. The ceremony commemorating the anniversary and receiving the title “Heroic City” was held solemnly, with an elaborately staged opening panorama portraying a Hai Phong that is both traditional and modern, with a glorious past, remarkable present-day development and an aspiration to move toward a bright future.
Part 2 is a special art program consisting of 3 chapters: “Hai Phong — a land of outstanding talent”; “A heroic and resolute victory song”; and “Hai Phong — faith and aspiration to rise”. The program depicts important historical milestones of Hai Phong from ancient times, through the work of building and defending the Fatherland, to the present day.
This part combines music, singing, dance, choreography, an immersive live stage and advanced technologies including 3D Mapping, Laser Mapping, powerful sound, special-effect lighting and artistic fireworks, promising to make a strong impression on the public.
At the event, city leaders and the Art Council provided feedback so that the production team could finalize the program before its official presentation on the evening of May 13. It will be broadcast live on VTV1 and digital platforms, and rebroadcast on the television channels and social media platforms of the Hai Phong City Press and Communications Center and several television channels in other localities./.
