WELCOME TO THE FIRST CONGRESS OF DELEGATES OF THE PARTY COMMITTEE OF THE HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE MANAGEMENT BOARD, 2025–2030 TERM
Hai Phong, June 15, 2025, amid an enthusiastic emulation movement celebrating the major holidays of the country and Hai Phong City, the Party Committee of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board solemnly held its First Congress of Delegates for the 2025–2030 term at the Hai Phong City Opera House.
This event has special significance because in just over half a month, from July 1, 2025, Vietnam will officially enter a new era with a two-tier local government model.
In this important context, the First Congress is not merely a regular political event but also a milestone marking the Party Committee’s strong new development. The transition to a more streamlined local government model requires flexible adaptation and outstanding leadership capacity from Party organizations. Therefore, this congress is particularly important, as the Party Committee of the Economic Zone Management Board must continuously improve its leadership capacity and remain determined to successfully fulfill all assigned political tasks within a new state management structure.
The congress provides an opportunity for the entire Party Committee to objectively and comprehensively review and assess the results achieved in recent times. On that basis, it will set directions, objectives and specific solutions for the next term to meet increasingly high requirements as Hai Phong Economic Zone continues to affirm its role as a leading growth pole and driver of socio-economic development for the city and the northern region. This is even more meaningful as local authorities are being restructured to serve people and businesses more effectively under the two-tier model.
With the spirit of “Solidarity – Innovation – Integration – Development”, the First Congress demonstrates unity in the will and actions of the entire Party Committee. The delegates, outstanding Party members representing affiliated branches, brought their wisdom, responsibility and dedication to the highest level. The congress selected and elected a new Executive Committee with the qualities, capacity and courage needed to lead the Party Committee to successfully fulfill its tasks in a promising new development phase, while adapting flexibly and effectively to major upcoming changes in the two-tier local government system.
With thorough preparation, a serious working spirit and the high responsibility of the delegates, together with the close leadership and direction of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, we are fully confident that the First Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board for the 2025–2030 term will be a great success. It will make an important contribution to the sustainable development of the Economic Zone and Hai Phong City in the coming period, particularly as the reform of the two-tier local government system is taking place nationwide.
