On 24 July 2025, in commemoration of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (27 July 1947–27 July 2025), Comrade Le Trung Kien, Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, visited and presented gifts to the family of Mrs Bui Thi Oanh, wife of martyr Pham Van Tai, at 88 Vinh Cat Street, Residential Group 14, An Bien Ward, Le Chan District. He was accompanied by representatives of relevant departments and leaders of An Bien Ward. The activity affirmed the nation’s profound tradition of “Repaying Gratitude” and “When drinking water, remember its source.”

Comrade Le Trung Kien thoughtfully asked about the family’s health and daily life, listened to their feelings and wishes, and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices made by martyr Pham Van Tai and his family to the revolutionary cause. He emphasised that the peace and development the country enjoys today bear the lasting mark of the contributions of previous generations.

Visiting and presenting gifts on the occasion of 27 July is not only an act of tribute, but also a reminder to today’s generation of its responsibility to preserve and promote revolutionary traditions and follow in the footsteps of its predecessors in building an increasingly strong Hai Phong City.
