The Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology has announced the organisation of Techfest Hai Phong 2025, the city’s largest annual event for innovation and innovative startups.
Techfest Hai Phong 2025 will again be organised by the Department of Science and Technology, marking eight years of building and continuously developing the local innovation ecosystem. This year’s event carries the theme “Unlimited Creativity – Hai Phong Reaching the Open Sea”, expressing the city’s pioneering spirit, aspiration to break through and determination to integrate internationally in the digital era.
Techfest Hai Phong is not only a forum connecting promising startup ideas and products, but also a space where scientists, businesses, investors and startup support organisations can meet, share knowledge and cooperate for development. It will thereby create a foundation for promoting the innovation ecosystem, helping businesses improve their competitiveness and contributing to the city’s sustainable development.
With the theme “Unlimited Creativity – Hai Phong Reaching the Open Sea”, Techfest Hai Phong 2025 is expected to remain a gathering place for excellence and a platform for bold ideas and innovation in thinking and action. It will inspire and generate new momentum for Hai Phong to make breakthroughs and integrate more deeply with the region and the world.
The event will take place from 25 to 27 September 2025 at the Hai Phong City Convention Centre (18 Hoang Dieu Street, Hong Bang Ward, Hai Phong City). With more than 100 booths, Techfest Hai Phong 2025 is expected to attract over 2,000 businesses, managers, experts, startup support organisations and domestic and international investment funds.
Through a rich programme including exhibitions of innovative products and models, thematic seminars, startup forums, investment and finance matchmaking sessions, technology supply-and-demand connections and intellectual property consulting, the event will strongly promote the startup ecosystem and help “Make in Vietnam” products and solutions confidently reach the international level.
Techfest Hai Phong 2025 is not only a city-level innovation promotion event, but also an important bridge between the state, scientists, businesses and investors in developing the knowledge economy, with the goal of building Hai Phong into an innovation hub for the northern region./.
