City Federation of Labour Meets Western-Area Enterprises to Support Labour Supply

On September 11, at the Hai Duong Trade Union Guest House, the city Federation of Labour held a meeting and discussion with enterprises using labour outsourcing services in the western area. The programme aimed to understand the actual situation, listen to difficulties and obstacles faced by enterprises and workers, and propose practical support solutions, contributing to harmonious, stable and developing labour relations.

The city Federation of Labour meets representatives of enterprises using outsourced labour.

At the meeting, enterprises shared difficulties in using outsourced labour, including insufficient supply, regulations limiting the occupations eligible for outsourcing, staff turnover, service costs, unclear responsibilities among the three parties (enterprise, service provider and worker), and related legal requirements.

The enterprises proposed that the city’s authorities introduce solutions to address the current labour shortage. These include policies on vocational training and rental housing, investment in transport infrastructure and social welfare, and connection channels to support the publication of enterprise recruitment information through official media and the city’s social-media channels. This would help workers access, trust and choose jobs, shorten recruitment times and improve labour supply efficiency.

Nguyen Van Phiet, Vice President of the city Federation of Labour, speaks at the meeting with enterprises.

Listening to the enterprises, Nguyen Van Phiet, Vice President of the city Federation of Labour, emphasised that meeting enterprises using outsourced labour not only helps capture the situation accurately, but also provides a basis for the trade union organisation to propose timely and appropriate solutions for today’s rapidly changing labour market.

The Vice President affirmed that the Federation would coordinate with the authorities to review and propose suitable policy adjustments, while strengthening supervision and connections among the parties to protect workers’ rights and facilitate enterprises’ production and business activities. The city Federation of Labour has continued to implement programmes and activities to care for and protect workers’ rights, thereby attracting workers to Hai Phong and helping meet the labour needs of enterprises in the city.
