The First Congress of the Hai Phong City Party Organisation for the 2025–2030 term, expected to take place on September 26–27, 2025, is a major political event for the city’s Party Organisation and people.
To create an enthusiastic atmosphere, spread the spirit of patriotic emulation and encourage people from all walks of life to look toward the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city asked the Standing Committees of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committees in communes, wards and special administrative zones to advise Party committees, coordinate with authorities and member organisations, and urge Front Work Committees in villages and residential groups to strengthen communication about the significance of the First Congress of the Hai Phong City Party Organisation for the 2025–2030 term through effective and practical forms.
Residents, agencies and organisations in the city are encouraged to display Party flags, national flags, banners and slogans along main roads, at administrative centres and in residential areas from September 17 through September 30, 2025.
In response to the 2025 World Cleanup Day campaign, launched by the Department of Agriculture and Environment to promote a bright, green, clean and beautiful Vietnam, the Standing Committee of the city’s Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee asked communes, wards and special administrative zones to actively launch activities such as building green, clean and beautiful streets and residential areas, improving urban areas and cleaning the environment; and to organise a general cleanup of village roads and alleys on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Cultural, sports and social-welfare activities should be strengthened to achieve practical results in celebration of the First Congress of the Hai Phong City Party Organisation for the 2025–2030 term./
