On the morning of 10/06/2025, the October flag-raising ceremony was solemnly held at the headquarters of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, with the participation of all officials, civil servants, public employees and the labor committee. This regular activity reflects the collective’s deep national pride and political determination to successfully fulfill the Authority’s assigned political tasks.

专题讲座“Understanding militia and self-defense forces and the formation of self-defense units at enterprises in industrial parks and economic zones in Hai Phong” – presented by Bui Thi Quynh Mai, a specialist at the Representative Office of the Authority in industrial parks and economic zones.
During the ceremony, Bui Thi Quynh Mai shared information about the importance and development of militia and self-defense forces, especially as industrial parks and economic zones continue to grow strongly. Self-defense units not only help maintain security and order in the area, but also strengthen protection for businesses, contributing to regional stability and economic development.

In his guidance at the ceremony, Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, reviewed the implementation of tasks during the first nine months of 2025. He emphasized that 2025 is the final year of the 2021–2025 socio-economic development plan, and therefore the entire organization must act in a focused and coordinated manner to carry out the key tasks for the final months of the year.
Regarding economic development, the Head acknowledged significant efforts to attract investment, contributing positively to the city’s GRDP growth, and identified areas requiring priority attention, including continued Party building; special attention to the environment and green transition; and solutions for the Hai Phong environmental index. Work on management, planning and development of the Southern Economic Zone, identified as important to the city’s new strategic vision, must be placed at the forefront.
He also thoroughly communicated the guiding principle of “Five Clarities”: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time and clear results. With the motto “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Creativity – Development,” the Authority is determined to join the city in successfully implementing the Congress theme and making Hai Phong a modern, civilized port city at the forefront of socialist development.
