To improve the effectiveness of implementing free trade agreements (FTAs) in the city, thereby promoting exports, expanding markets, attracting investment and improving the competitiveness of the business community in the process of international economic integration,
Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade is conducting a survey on how the business community accesses and takes advantage of FTA preferences pursuant to Official Letter No. 5518/SCT-QLĐT&HTQT dated October 14, 2025.
Objective:
The survey results will provide an important basis for state management agencies to develop more specialized, practical and appropriate support programs for each product sector, business size and target market.
Based on the data collected, the Department of Industry and Trade will:
- Coordinate with ministries, sectors, associations and international partners to organize business-connection activities and direct consultations on rules of origin, conformity and technical-regulation certification, green transition, traceability, food safety, labor and other matters.
- Research and propose solutions to remove difficulties related to procedures, technical requirements and standards for enterprises during the integration process.
