ATTRACT investment in infrastructure development of industrial parks and economic zones

(1) ON INVESTMENT IN INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL PARKS

  • Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park Zone I, Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park Zone II, An Duong Industrial Park are actively accelerating infrastructure construction and attracting investment; Hai Phong International Gateway Port Industrial Park (Deep C3) is focusing on site clearance and infrastructure construction.
(2) ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW INDUSTRIAL PARKS
  • Further implementation is expected 15 new industrial parks with a total area of ​​6.200 hectares, up to now, certain results have been achieved as follows: 02 industrial parks approved by the Prime Minister with investment policy decisions: Xuan Cau industrial park and non-tariff zone (752 hectares); Tien Thanh Industrial Park (410,46 hectares).
  • Additional construction is expected to begin 13 KCN new with a total area of ​​over 4,009 hectares, specifically: – 04 industrial parks are submitting applications Request approval of investment policy at the Ministry of Planning and Investment: Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park (200,3 hectares); Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park (319,6 hectares); Trang Due 3 Industrial Park (687 hectares); Giang Bien 2 Industrial Park (177,8 hectares). – 09 KCN (total area 3.505 hectares) are taking steps to prepare for investment according to the law.
(3) CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSING FOR WORKERS

(1) LABOR AND JOB CREATION 

  • The total number of workers working in industrial parks and economic zones is 185.222 workers, reduce 2,4% compared to the same period. Of which, Vietnamese workers are 180.753 people, down 2,6% over the same period (195.649 people), foreign workers are 4.469 people, up 6,1% over the same period (4.212 people).
  • Average income: 11,5 million VND/person/month. Labor relations, security and order, labor safety and hygiene are stable.

(2) KEY TARGETS IN PRODUCTION AND BUSINESS 

  • Revenue: Estimated to reach 415.557 billion VND, reaching 65% of the year's plan.
  • Export: Estimated to reach 12.801 million USD, reaching 55% of the year's plan.
  • Import: Estimated 10.409 million USD, reaching 48% of the year's plan.
  • Budget submission: Estimated VND XNX billion, reaching 46% of the year's plan.
