At the conference, delegates representing upper-level trade unions and grassroots trade unions in Hai Phong exchanged and discussed the results of implementing the CBA from 2018 to present.

In particular, we focus on clarifying difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process: Many small and medium-sized enterprises are family-based, so the agreements are formal and do not go into the substance of improving people's welfare. labor…

In addition, union officials do not have a firm grasp of the procedures for negotiating and signing collective bargaining agreements; Some union officials work part-time and receive salaries from the enterprise, so the terms in the agreement are mostly proposals, not negotiable....

To overcome difficulties, delegates proposed solutions such as higher-level trade unions publicizing a number of high-quality agreements as a basis for units to refer to and study;

In addition to training on the negotiation process of collective bargaining agreements with trade union officials, it is necessary to propagate collective bargaining agreements so that workers can understand and contribute ideas to build practical, quality agreements...

From 2018 up to now, trade unions at all levels have negotiated and signed 236 new collective bargaining agreements and re-signed 428 collective bargaining agreements, bringing the total number of collective bargaining agreements to 1.051 out of a total of 1.458 enterprises with trade unions. Of these, 24 agreements are type A, 92 are type B, 483 are type C and 452 are type D.
