Incentives in economic zones
Import and Export Tax
Subjects not subject to export tax or import tax (Pursuant to Decree No. 134/2016/ND-CP):
- Goods from the non-tariff zone are exported abroad
- Hoang imported goods from abroad into the tax-free zone and is only used in the zone
- Goods are moved from one non-tariff zone to another
- Goods imported for processing to foreign countries and then exported or goods exported to foreign countries for processing to Vietnam and then re-imported under processing contracts
Land and water surface rent
Exemption from land rent and water surface rent for the entire lease term (Pursuant to Decree No. 46/2014/ND-CP):
- Investment projects in fields with special investment incentives are invested in extremely difficult socio-economic areas
- The project uses land to build housing for workers in industrial parks.
- Land for construction of infrastructure for general use in industrial parks.
Exemption from land rent and water surface rent after the period of exemption from land rent and water surface rent during the basic construction period:
- 11 years for investment projects in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions.
- 15 years for projects on the List of investment incentive fields invested in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions.
