After nearly 2 years of implementing Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW, dated June 12, 6 of the Politburo "On innovating the organization and operations of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation", all levels of Labor Hai Phong Economic Zone delegation has many innovations in content and operating methods: dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility with a spirit of solidarity and high sense of responsibility to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Economic Zone Trade Union activities have focused more on care and representation work with the motto of being grassroots-oriented and taking union members as the center. Legal consulting and legal aid work has been promoted. Democratic regulations and dialogue and collective bargaining are implemented more substantively. Promote the grassroots movement with the activities of groups of boarding house workers, notably dialogue between migrant workers and local authorities where there are a large number of boarding house workers.
To date, the rate of dialogue at the workplace is 94,2%, 233/294 enterprises are eligible to sign collective labor agreements reaching 79,2%, including 2 multi-employer collective labor agreements. industry (type A: 45,9%, type B: 34.3%, type C: 12.4%, type D: 7,3%). Supervision of policy implementation is effective. Payment of salaries, bonuses, sickness, maternity, labor accident benefits... to employees fully and promptly. The care work is maintained effectively, on average each year, subsidies, Tet gifts, and bus tickets are given to 15.658 workers.

The work of propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers continues to be innovated and diversified. Every year, an average of 41.580 workers are propagated about labor laws, trade unions, labor safety, and population. family planning, reproductive health care, HIV, fire prevention... The patriotic emulation movement has aroused the initiative, dynamism, and creativity of workers and civil servants in labor and training. awareness, discipline, building industrial working style; Every year, there are over 50.000 innovative initiatives, many advanced examples appear, creating motivation for the production and business activities of enterprises to be maintained and developed. Financial work and union assets are gradually being completed. Workers trust and join the union at a fairly high rate, reaching 92,8%, the rest are probationary workers and sub-hired workers.
