The City People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 250/KH-UBND on coordinating the organization of the live TV broadcast celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Northward Rally event at the Hai Phong city bridge.

The program was carried out under the direction of the Hai Phong City People's Committee, Vietnam Television and the Central Propaganda Department, aiming to commemorate the historical milestones of the nation with the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations to achieve peace, independence, happiness and prosperity of the nation. At the same time, it highlighted the significance of the event of the North-South Rally, marking a historical shift of forces contributing to the struggle for national reunification; the decision to send cadres, soldiers and children of the Southern people demonstrated the profound strategic vision of President Ho Chi Minh and the Party Central Committee in creating the foundation for building the North, consolidating forces for the struggle for national reunification. Thereby demonstrating the patriotism, determination of every Vietnamese person in general and the warmth, affection, willingness to protect and share of the people of Hai Phong in particular, affirming the solidarity of the North and the South as one family, the Vietnamese nation as one. The program also contributes to promoting and introducing the image, potential, strengths and enhancing the position and reputation of the city to domestic and international friends.
Accordingly, the Program will be broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television from 20:00 on November 16, 11 (Saturday) at 2024 locations: Hai Phong - Thanh Hoa - Ca Mau; rebroadcast on local Radio and Television Stations and broadcast on digital platforms.
In Hai Phong city, the bridge was held at the City Theater square with the number of delegates, guests and people up to 3.000 people.
