On December 27, 12, the People's Committee of Hai Phong city issued Decision 2018/QD-UBND authorizing the HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY (HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY) to appraise and approve Environmental impact assessment reports (EIA) of projects in industrial parks.
On that basis, the HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY has developed and submitted to the City People's Committee for approval a set of Administrative Procedures to serve this work. Accordingly, the time for EIA appraisal of projects is 30 working days (shortened by 20 days compared to regulations in Circular No. 27/2015/TT-BNTMT dated May 29, 5 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment). .
On March 18, 3, HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY received the application for appraisal of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report "Dusco Vina Branch Project" of Dusco Vina Steel Fiber Manufacturing Company Limited at lot L2019A, L4.4, Do Son Industrial Park, Hai Phong city.
Under the direction of the Board's leaders, with the spirit of fair work and responsibility of specialized staff, in just 07 working days, the HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY established a Project Appraisal Council. The project of Dusco Vina Steel Fiber Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has been approved by the Appraisal Council and the HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY has approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Report in accordance with regulations (Approval Decision No. 1288/QD-BQL dated April 25, 4). The total time to complete the work is 2019/19 working days, shortened by 30 days according to the issued deadline for resolving administrative procedures.
HAI PHONG ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY continues to improve work efficiency, speed up the appraisal and approval of EIA Reports of projects, ensure correct order and procedures, and meet environmental protection requirements. market and promote projects to be deployed soon in industrial parks, contributing to improving efficiency and scale of attracting investment into industrial parks in the city./.
